Whoa, where'd summer go? What happened to all the art I was planning to get done? (Answers: it ran right by/it never happened. Go figure.)

There was some sketching, minimal arting, and lots of working and errand running and sporadic internet lurking and being tired in general. Yay. I do have some stuff in the works (all for other people...), but I have made a vow to myself that the next thing I post absolutely MUST be ~nmnighteyes' commission. It needs to be done. So hopefully there will be some adorable anthro wuffies popping up in my watchers' devwatches soon.

Speaking of watchers! I've fallen woefully behind in thanking people for watches, and ended up have to delete a handful of really old notifications. So, thank you to you all! I appreciate the support, and really am trying to finish stuff up to post so that the watches don't go to waste!

Now, the journal heading:

I have found myself a new favorite magazine... the Doctor Who Magazine (surprise, surprise.) I've been picking up all the latest ones at a local newsstand (despite not being able to read 'em yet, being as behind in the series as I am) and have been snagging various back issues off ebay. However, this has negatively impacted my bank account, and I've got to cut back majorly on the ebay-ing. So, I was wondering, is there anyone out there with DWM back issues in good condition that would be willing to trade them for art? I'm not actually offering to trade right this very moment as I've got projects that need finishing, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there to see if anyone would be interested (UK peeps! Do any of you have local shops that might have back issues you'd be willing to purchase for trading?)

(Not so sure about surviving school, though... but DWM certainly gives me something to look forward to reading during homework breaks )
